Summary: As a soldier, being realistic about what the future may hold can be heartrending. No one wants to dwell on the worst case scenarios, but awareness and preparation help protect all involved.
Rating/Stuff You’ll Read: PG, many implications of relationships, awareness of mortality (tissue warning?), but everything is off screen. Sort of like the jokes for adults hidden in cartoons.
Words: ~2500 A snapshot.

This ficlet does not have any true spoilers for the new movie, just the characters sitting around at some imagined time beforehand playing “What if…” Credit for the idea patchwork quilt: many things were sort of blended from RP and fic bits with friends. (Hints of aprilraven’s Lennox family Guardian, an Ironhide storytelling RP with runyasan08 , some Ratchet/Ironhide RP concepts with cubicality .)

Summary: A while after Jon gets his walking papers and just shows up at Rich's work, and Rich offers the usual place to crash.
Rating/Warnings: PG-13, swears, war, (standard implied slash)
AN: So this - this image would not let me go. Some of the style weirdness is nightmary, some is that I'm w/ family and holiday crazyness when writing it.

Summary: Hints of what the government group's odd request really meant.  A little knowledge and a lot of people can be a dangerous thing.
Rating: R, eventual fighting, pain and angst. Things fall apart.
Warnings: Crazy technical ramblings on my part.  Angst.  Lots.
AN: Italics is usually thoughts.  (For some stupid reason I've jumbled from my usual code of thoughts, bond-speak, comms, etc.  Dunno why.)
