Yeow!

Reading this reminded me of all the hurricane stuff we get here. Ivan left me without power for a week, three weeks with Dennis because the power box got tore off and there was a massive waiting list. Since we get a hurricane of somesort nearly every other year, battery operated radios are easily obtain. I have two. And I have three flashlights in every closest. Small, medium and large. I also have battery operated lanterns. There's something very surreal about taking a bath with your only light being a lantern. Lesee, I do have a generator, but it's only enough to run the fridge, a box AC, and keep small handhelds charged. I also have a propane operated mini stove. >w< Am I prepared? Hell yes.

I think this must be one of the worst tornado seasons ever. So, we're up to Alabama ( Montgomery, Birmingham and Tuscaloosa - Wichita Falls level tornado ), Joplin, Mo, some other places and now Massachusetts? Lovely.

I am seriously dreading hurricane season, and I am just glad I will not be here for most of it. The Gulf is practically boiling, which will equal hurricane steroids. I'm just worried about my stuffs, since my animals will be living with my mum in Wisconsin for the time. Of course, major tornados happen there. X_X Town about an hour north of us got wiped off the map about eight years ago.

Mother nature must be on her period. That's all I've got to say on that front.

Lol, you're moving to Alaska? What, we're getting LD out of there, and you've just decided you HAVE TO take her place or something? :P
