'Verse: Movie’verse. Somewhere between Revenge of the Fallen and Dark of the Moon
Characters: Will Lennox/Sarah Lennox, Annabelle, Ironhide/(Ratchet, mentioned)
Summary: As a soldier, being realistic about what the future may hold can be heartrending. No one wants to dwell on the worst case scenarios, but awareness and preparation help protect all involved.
Rating/Stuff You’ll Read: PG, many implications of relationships, awareness of mortality (tissue warning?), but everything is off screen. Sort of like the jokes for adults hidden in cartoons.
Words: ~2500 A snapshot.

This ficlet does not have any true spoilers for the new movie, just the characters sitting around at some imagined time beforehand playing “What if…” Credit for the idea patchwork quilt: many things were sort of blended from RP and fic bits with friends.
