Yeah, the hailstones were when it was still fun-stormy-times. They were bouncing off the roof and in the front lawn and I dashed out to get the first one. Hell, we stuck it in the freezer to save. It was a few hours later that we finally realized this was serious.
Tornadoes just really aren't a thing around here. Even if the news says one touched down, it tends to be "touched down and vanished" and we only know that it happened the next day from the weather radar telling us so.
